Eric Taylor is an experienced Chicago musician with over 20 years of teaching and performing under his belt. His early years were spent on casio keyboards but developed a passion for the guitar in his early teens. His creativity, knowledge, and ability to play many instruments allow him to maintain an active music career.

Under the direction of Frank Portolese, Frank Dawson, David Bloom, and Bill Boris, Eric earned a BA in Instrumental Performance for Jazz Guitar from Columbia College Chicago in 2011. Since then, he has toured the country with The Detours, Stache, Tour De Funk, The Personnel, and The Union, giving him the opportunity to share the stage with the likes of Gin Blossoms, LeAnn Rimes, and Shawn Mullins.

Eric currently lives in Chicago, and enjoys playing with his bands, The Union, Stache, and The Detours.
